• NASA is conducting a crucial fueling test on the Space Launch System rocket for the Artemis 2 moon mission, loading liquid hydrogen to verify repairs to a previously leaky umbilical ahead of later rollout and liftoff.
👩‍🚀 SpaceX Crew-12 to ISS
• NASA and SpaceX are in final launch preparations for the Crew-12 mission to the International Space Station, with liftoff targeted early Friday morning (Feb. 13) from Cape Canaveral.

Birds hop across the fence rail, shaking off droplets like someone flicking beads of water. The world feels fresh and reset. Sean smiles, scribbling down clever story hooks.

1. Tulip Planting Problem (Quadratics)
Bob and Michele are planning a small spring garden. They want to build a rectangular flower bed along a fence so only three sides need fencing. They have 40 feet of fencing available.
If the area of the garden is represented by

2. Spring Break Road Trip (Systems of Equations)
Bob leaves for the spring festival at 10:00 a.m., driving at 50 mph. Michele leaves from the same spot at 10:30 a.m., driving 65 mph to catch up.
How long after Michele leaves will she catch up to Bob?

3. Cherry Blossom Growth (Exponential Growth)
Michele is tracking the blossoms on a cherry tree. On the first warm day of spring, she counts 120 blossoms. The number of blossoms increases by 15% each day for 5 days.
How many blossoms will there be after 5 days?
Write the exponential equation and compute the total.

4. Kite Flying Geometry (Trigonometry)
Bob is flying a kite on a breezy spring afternoon. The string is 80 feet long and makes a 35° angle with the ground.
How high is the kite above the ground? (Assume the string is straight and taut.)

5. Spring Fair Budget (Linear Functions)
Bob and Michele are saving for the spring fair. Bob already has $25 and saves $8 per week. Michele has $10 and saves $12 per week.
After how many weeks will they have the same amount of money?
How much money will each have at that time?
